That is right! If you go behind that retention pond between Line Road, and Border Lake Road, right in front of the Nationwide business there, is an old oak tree that is in pretty bad shape now, and has been cut and cut over and over to practically its demise. I got my cell phone camera out today, and made several photos of the tree. That tree is special to me, and I decided to take some photos of it, because I don’t expect it to be there much longer. That tree is where my daddy and I used to park his big truck and pull right up to the tree under the shade of it, as it used to be much bigger, and had a lot of shade cover, and was in a much better condition, and we sold apples by the bag loads right there off the back of his big produce truck. I bet you are thinking there was no traffic back there….but that was the main 436 back then, and later it was re-routed and re-configured, and we did very good with the apple sales there. Certainly, not as much traffic as 436 now, as it was only a two lane road back then! My daddy would go get apples from the mountain area of N.C. to bring and sale in Florida and also to stores here too. That was like 46 years ago! I would crawl around in the truck bed and bag the apples up, and it kept me busy as people kept stopping to buy them! My daddy did this as a side job in addition to his hotel jobs, he worked. Also where the current road, 436 is now, some of the lanes, used to be a part of the lake, across the road from that oak tree. How things change……. Mama Mia It is so disgusting that everywhere you drive around in Altamonte, Longwood, and Orlando there is major construction on the roads every time you go there, no matter when you go. Piles of dirt mounded up, barricades, drums with stripes and reflector lights on top, and road signs. It never is completed! Always messed up roads to travel on! I knew it was going to be a grocery, but just found out what grocery. Remember when Walmart claimed they were going to come into the old Albertsons Grocery, that sits vacant, at Welch Road, and Park Avenue….well, they didn’t, after telling everyone they were coming. It would be nice to have something come in to the old vacant Albertsons Grocery there. That grocery was practically my second home, when it was open and operating. I was in there all the time. December 28, 2017 at 6:21 pm I’m sitting here sniffing my perfume. I tried on some at the mall, I really like, now I must go back again and buy some…LOL It is Estee Lauder’s Spellbound….love it! The mall was busy, and it was really hard to resist going crazy buying everything I wanted that was on sale in the after Christmas sales. Reply TMZ is talking about one of the Real Housewives of NY, I believe, Luann, I think, was arrested for drunkenness. She is facing four felonies! First, she pushed a door into the face of a cop, and when she was handcuffed and put in the police car, she wiggled out of the cuffs, in the back seat. You can get the straight of the story on TMZ. Harry Levin said she could face some serious prison time, if they want to throw the book at her, and he is an attorney. Please enter your name here We just got back home, and had been over to Altamonte Mall. When we got there along the grounds of the Seventh Day Adventists gate, two different cop cars had a black full sized truck pulled over, and I looked out the window, and saw a young guy having to stand on one leg, and was having to touch his nose. They were checking him out with a sobriety test, to see if they thought he was drunk, or impaired. The cops are out there, watch out! Don’t drink then drive, even just one drink, they will likely get you!
